Why am I doing this? There are software programs, known as "web bots", which travel the world wide web and look at every web page looking for email addresses. When these web bots find an email address they collect it and send it back to the folks who control the web bot. Those folks use the email addresses they collect to sell to spammers. Spammers buy these email addresses and add them their list of addresses to send spam. What I am doing is taking the email addresses of every person who sends me spam and placing their email address on this web page (and 27 other pages just like this one) so the web bots will collect them. What this does is create a situation in which the spammers are spamming other spammers. Pretty neat, huh? I encourage anyone who has received spam to do the same. Hopefully, it will help battle the spammers. Maybe when the spammers themselves have to clean 200 worthless emails per week out of their email accounts, they'll see how stupid their actions are.
